Originally established in 2013, Patel Hospital is a general care hospital providing a full range of inpatient services including General Medical & Speciality Care, Metabolic Diseases Treatments, Diabetes & B.P. Reversal Programmes and an Intensive Care Unit.
In addition to the 25-bed hospital, our medical campus includes multiple facilities dedicated to comprehensive outpatient services including an in-house pharmacy and pathology lab.

Our Inspiration
I, Dr. Shishir Patel - founder of Patel Hospital & I.C.U., pay my respect to all the people involved in my humble journey. I also want to thank them who played a vital role in me evolving as a healthcare professional and as an individual. Having been born and brought up in a humble peasant family in a rural area, it was my mother Sarlaben, who believed in me and supported me to accomplish my academic aspirations. Through her support, I could study in urban areas despite many hurdles, physical and financial. My father, Sudeshbhai has always stood by my side like a rock solid supporter, when faced with hard decisions in my life.

On my professional journey, I consider myself fortunate to get mentors, Dr Praful Kadu sir and Dr. Sunay Vyas sir. With their inspirations I could risk my career with a venture to establish a hospital in Vadodara. My sister, Sarita and brother-in-law, Sachinbhai, have always guided me through, like Shree Krishna to Arjuna. I'm indebted to Mr Vinod Joshi for his guidance and support for my clarity of vision and mission. I'm also thankful to Mr Nayan Desai, for his on the job guidance in management and coping with the day to day stress. And lastly, I am thankful to my loving and caring wife Bhagyashree and angel daughter Digvi, who have made me sensitive to my patients to be tender, loving care giver.

Patel Hospital was founded by Dr. Shishir Patel with the purpose of solving the shortage of good hospitals in the Gotri area of Vadodara City.
By providing truly transparentand the best quality services at affordable prices, the hospital gained great traction and was converted to a 25-bedded multispeciality hospital.
Treating more than 1000 patients in COVID-19 outbreak with 0 death ratio.
